Capitalism has grown unhinged… literally dominate the world market through manipulation then launch ANY product and people will rush to buy some share of it even if you control and create demand because it’s a purely virtual space. Also I had to read like half this article to confirm it was saying what it really was saying because it’s technojargon. Just say people are paying Meta to have specific lots of digital real estate. Don’t call it regular real estate, it’s not actual land.
