The interesting part is that it can actually transcribe the speech into the IRC channel and vice-versa do text to speech from IRC input.

I haven’t tried it. Please give it a try as I am interested in this bot but will probably not get around setting it up for quite some time.
I don’t have any use for it unfortunately
