NPR has been a closet conservative blowtorch for decades now. They always, always use the softest language and the most forgiving approach with fascists and war criminals.
Juan Williams, of Fox News, was a senior editor there for years. I don’t want to upset people for whom NPR is the only liberal voice in the deep deep red forest where they live, becuase I get it - anything is good - but yes, they’ve been covering for republiQans for a long, long time.
The crazy part about Trump defunding NPR and PBS is that he’d be hurting shit like this in the process. PBS pulled a trans documentary from air recently as well. Fuck the both of em.
