Just want to add a quick comment to say that lots of people have said very nice things about lemmy.zip in the giveaway thread. I can’t reply in there because then I’d enter the giveaway and obviously don’t want to do that (didn’t think through that eventuality did I!) So just wanted to say thank you to everyone for that. It’s very touching.
It doesn’t increase your chances of winning though so you can say mean things if you want 😉
Thanks - I mean it makes no sense to me why that would suddenly let it start working, but glad it has! It should “just work” though, so I’ll keep having a play with it!

Nope, definitely something going on with it… I test for months with no issues then suddenly it all stops working, classic :)
Yeah give Tesseract a shot - I think its “old” photon the UI is forked from so hopefully that should go away. Let me know if any issues though :)
Considering the mass exodus of Dr’s abroad, who exactly do they expect to do this. The only way to achieve this is to improve conditions, pay, and invest in the training of new Dr’s.

I’ve looked in the DB and as far as i can tell, they triple posted. Each one has a unique AP_id which means that each of those comments was most likely created on the host instance (lemmy.ml) then sent to us an activity, rather than being federated incorrectly. Always happy to check other examples though, i know there has been an issue with lemmy.world duplicating all their activities for some reason (although thankfully it didnt mean we had 2 of everything!)

Ah, yeah, just clicked :) UTC is currently 17:44! Because its in the past it will just autopost it there and then!
I think I’ve narrowed down that particular issue, in relation to UTC.
Which is because UTC is an hour behind UK time which is the timezone that was set. Which is now UTC as it should’ve been!
So, multiline bodies should be good now, and you can delete anything zippybot has posted in your community by replying to the post with #delete :)

The post should pop up shortly without a body (one bug fixed) - I’ll let you know when the multi-line thing is fixed :)
Yeah, looking at it now - it doesn’t like split line bodies which is why it didn’t return it in the reply.
Just need to update the regex the bot uses to detect the body and will probably need to enforce “” like the welcome message to handle a split body.

Ah yeah, I see the issue. The 1300 didn’t parse correctly (it expects 13:00) but I can add a check in for that in the next zippy version so it provides feedback on that
No quotes needed for the body of the autopost currently! Should fully support markdown, but if any issues let me know and I can have a look (it was the first one I made so not as flexible as the other two at the moment)
