Yeah those categories are pretty straightforward at character creation. Just pick one and dump all starter points into it

Give it a shot. It’s not too bad and you can’t mess it up really.
I’d recommend picking a specialty and try to max points vs spread out in a few categories. Skill points cost more the higher you go once you start.
It really gets its source from a character sheet of tabletop games. “What are you good at?”

The very first time I did the haunted house I was corner strifing (face the turn and step into it instead of turn the camera inside the corner). That freaking ghost came right at my face and scared the bejesus out of me. I’ve never jumped so hard at a game.
I still try to avoid that quest even though I know it’s coming.

I picked up a Walmart ONN stick and sideloaded Kodi.
Great price. But idk if it’s worth going to Walmart for it. God that place sucks. In store only.
You can work with that. I got a shitty lower heavy beard that doesn’t connect my mustache correctly.
On the sides of my lips it just won’t grow. You can hopefully trim yours down to get dapper.
I just started playing wildmender from my backlog. Probably from a humble bumble.
Totally up my alley. Got my wife a copy and now we’re playing it together.
Sandbox survival with a storyline and quests

Thankfully there are groups to replace boards or flash some devices. I need to keep better bookmarks to plug them.

!homeassistant@lemmy.world on a isolated vLAN is my goal for “Smart” devices.

My modded Wii is the one console I’d consider hooking back up.
My living room is a modded android stick and a steam deck on a dock

I see September 2026 as a tough date.
I’ve met people like this.
Literally enough money to never work and still live comfortably. I was talking to a wife of one that made her husband start a business simply because he was out golfing too much.
I’ve managed to train my family to understand “server side issue”
These look amazing.
Now I got the bread song stuck in my head again…
Edit: I found it

This is the way. I use Bitwarden and Aegis.
The issue here is putting Bitwarden on your phone with OTP in Bitwarden.

I’m a little concerned about having OTP and passwords together in one system.
A different series of six digits.

Car all now gather information and manufacturers sell this data to anyone.
This means they’re often maintaining those extra communications/sensor systems.
Car also have things like sonar detectors, cameras, smart stereo systems and more. I could understand how drivers assistance or media systems that connect to ever changing cell phones need updates.
How a dead radio prevents the car from running would just be bad design. Shit should be isolated and NOTHING should prevent the car from simply running.
The legacy systems that made a car work 20 years ago should stay isolated from all the smart shit slapped on it. Lane guidance, adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking and the like are nice but shouldnt stop the car from working.
“For driver safety” they prevent the car from working until X component is repaired.
Wildmender which I’m sure I got in a humble bundle. Both me and my wife have one. I ran into it as I was browsing my massive steam library for a casual game.
Its an open world sandbox survival. Clean simple graphics. Not really building but I get Don’t Starve vibes but it’s extremely forgiving.
The best part is the survival mechanics. You awaken in a ruined dessert world and work towards restoring it.
You need to stay hydrated and fed. So you need to grow stuff to eat and keep your water bottle topped off.
Its extremely gratifying to start off with just a desert with a small pool of water and end up with an oasis.
You can play solo or up to 4 player online/LAN.
The storyline is pretty good too. Combat is fairly easy but that’s coming from a seasoned gamer. I don’t think I’d die except from fall damage.
