Where is the hostility between the US and, say, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Jordania or Saudi?
I can understand occupation in Iraq and Syria. But even there local leaders (like the kurds) don’t seem hostile.









Absolutely possible, I’m not perfect an that region isn’t my main area of expertise so I would love to be corrected.
(Un)fortunately my library is a pretty big place so telling me to go there will just result in me going home with another Star Wars book that is hardly helpful here. (Or worse yet: More state propaganda!) So can you maybe point me on some, in your opinion, good material? Thanks.
