Trends like this is like trickle down economics. If the adults find fun in using it the teens will use it, and then the children will catch on. I would argue it being illegal also encourages minors to get it; so even If they enforced it better, there would be people willing to take risks.

I agree. people will say it’s because of lobbying between those companies and the government - I agree, but partially. That’s because the majority of people put no effort in combating this addiction; they may say “it’s addictive” but that’s about it.
I’m not even sure people will be willing to admit they have an addiction. And this could be harmful for their preteen children - as this is when they take example of their parents.
It’s a good thing to be happening. However it’s not only addictive to children/ teens, adults also are observed to be addicted and resent into depression.
