When going to work on Mars is a middle class job.

I camped out overnight! Met new people, shared stories, and it was like regular camping but in a parking lot and no fire.
The campout was a lot more fun than the movie.
Humans mix things intentionally whether by filtering down randomized mixing or by intentionally choosing what to mix. AI just throws shit at the wall becsuse it can’t do anything intentionally.
That would go great with these Nike shoes!
Nah, people put together stuff randomly all the time. Things that most people are aware of tend to be filtered to stuff that works together.
It is no more creative than putting pieces of paper with things on them and pulling them randomly out of a hat. AI can’t creatively come up with something new to write on one of those pieces of paper.

That is the real reason, not how it was ‘justified’.
Fuck that. I get so many false positives when not changing lanes but there are faded lines in construction zones or when signaling and then merging into a turn lane that has a line too solid for the sensors that I turn that crap off. Yes, I did have it beep and jerk the wheel when my signal was on multiple times.
No, using your turn signal correctly doesn’t mean lane departure always works correctly. It is a crutch for people who don’t pay attention while driving and is far from perfect.

There isn’t a singular filter, it is a wide spectrum. There is a reason to have some filtering based on context, such as not shouting obscenities in a kindergarten class. While society tends to expect a pretty strong filter as part of conflict avoidance, it is possible to have a filter without suppressing expression just because people don’t want to hear it.
So it depends on who says that a filter is needed and the context.
Most likely they throw the first one in a wide net to see what reaction it gets. Then if there isn’t much engagement it won’t push newer content as much.
They have a lot of other people to hook and you can’ give every one inflated views.

The German B-movie filmmaker appears to be trolling ‘Resident Evil’ director Paul W.S. Anderson, who is planning an official reboot of the zombie franchise, adapted from the hit video game.
“When I heard that Paul Anderson is rebooting House of the Dead, I immediately knew that it will be a soulless CGI orgy”, said Boll in a statement. “And I want to do a completely different zombie movie: Bloody, gory and handmade.”
Why did he pick a title based on 28 Years Later then?

Because for a long time in many societies women and children were seen as property of men and corporal punishment was seen as appropriate well after it was decided that the state could not do the same to men who were convicted of crimes. Eventually most societies have started to treat physical violence against wives as a crime, but lag far behind on children.
A huge chunk of the US still doesn’t prohibit corporal punishment for children, and everyone can probably guess most of the states that still allow it.

A video game series is only a sliver of the movies/tv show/comic books/games/conventions/embedded in social consciousness category that something like star wars and star trek are.

Unless you give permission to share your data for some other purpose, the data used for contextual suggestions is never shared with apps or Google, and never leaves your device.
I don’t believe you.
Galaxy Quest
I don’t think computer games are in the same category.
Oh, this must be in first world degrees.
When looking at time scales, artificial intelligence comparable to even an average human is likely to be centuries away due to the complexity involved. Silicon solutions are not scalable for making the number of connections and managing them over time. Taking a shortcut using biology is going to require years or decades of training as we incrementally improve the training process. None of that is going to be completed within our lifetimes, so being dismissive of it is completely reasonable.
It is as impossible as cloning fully grown adults with all their memories, like sure we can do it eventually once tech reaches that point but at this point in time me calling it impossible won’t be disproven before I am worm food.
