Was creating a Philippine Lemmy community just an echo chamber? Most of us are anticipating on re-opening the sub than embracing the new platform we have right now.
Personally, I want to see a piece of artwork develop over time like I was watching a film “Finding Neverland” we may thought it is a magical world, but nope nope.
But damn, Lemmy minimizes my doom-scrolling I got from Reddit.

It’s staying. Both as an active alternative and a fallback.
Some of the “regulars” here either left Reddit a long time ago or have no plans of coming back if it reopened anyway.

I feel like lemmy will be as big as reddit in a few years. Idk why pero for some reason lagi akong nauuna sa mga patok na apps bago sila sumikat. I was there on tiktok when numerical codes pa ang user ID. Nasa lazada na rin ako nung puro shady gadgets like ballpen with spy camera and audio recorder pa lang ang binebenta nila while only having 1 warehouse sa rizal area. Even on instagram nauna ako I was there before FB acquired IG. Looks like I’ll be one of the pioneer users again in an upcoming unicorn app which is Lemmy.

Ito siguro yung part ng buhay ko na napagdaanan niyo na (sakin kasi ngayon pa lang). Araw-araw lang kasi napapaisip ako bakit ba binigay 'tong taong 'to sa akin sa stage ng buhay ko ngayon? I’ve had countless nights this past year being not in my element. You know what, I’m still truly thankful, tbh. Kasi kung hindi dahil sa kanya, di ko malalaman na may ganito pala akong kapasidad magmahal.
I don’t know if this person will just be a part of my journey or what, and if I still got some time left. This was like Election 2022 when many kakampinks jumpshipped to r/ph 'cause “di toxic, at walang peknews.” Napaka-mindful raw mga Redditors. And now that sub is filled with excessive, lazy screencapped socmed dramas lol
Protesting is no longer effective here in the Philippines. Kaya little effort na sa mga lumalaban ng social injustices against those guilty ones na mababa ang tinging sa protests at iba pang mga laban sa kanila.
protest is not only about changing them, its also about changing yourself.
