A full-fledged mobilisation campaign is underway in Russia. About 20,000 people are involved in it every month, while the children of officials and oligarchs are not affected by it.
Russia has around 750k men in the age range from 17 to 27 (I mean 750k for each birth year).
Mobilizing 250k a year is a lot.
I can only hope they’re losing that many every month. FUCK Russia.
that’s the most brain-dead take… do you think the Russian citizens are excited to go to war? do you think they want to die in Ukraine? they’re just pawns in the game these psychopaths in the government are playing.
The russians can either die, or kill more Ukrainians. I know which option I’m okay with.
The solution is plainly visible. They need to depose the tyrant. The problem is, too many of them agree with the tyrant. Yes Putin rigs elections but he’s not inventing his support out of nothing. So until they can clean up their shit, it looks like they’ll be sending their youth to the meat grinder.
