    Don’t worry. Musk is a genius, everyone knows it. All the best people say. In fact one time, I asked him how the internet works. And he said it was pipes connected to each other. Isn’t that something. A bunch of pipes connected together. Who has ever heard of such a thing. Maybe we should look into that for connecting America and Russia. It could be great.

      now, to be fair, the series of tubes analogy is fine and I cringe for the staffer that likely took the heat after the bruhaha exploded - but such is life.

      on the flipside… I have no qualms about derision heaped on an opponent of net neutrality - cuz, you know, such is life.
