I’ve never heard anyone anywhere pronounce it haitch.
JavaScript itself is fine. The problem is developers who import a library to add two numbers.
Blue_Morpho@lemmy.worldto Today I Learned@lemmy.world•TIL that in 1917, under orders from Surgeon General Rupert Blue, cigarettes were included in the ration kits for every fighting man in the US Military.English51·4 days agoHe’s being down voted because both are amphetamines that have been used by militaries. His reply stating “it’s ADHD medicine” ignores that it is an amphetamine used by the US military during WW2 to keep soldiers awake for days at a time with reduced need for food.
The person corrected the original post from meth to dex. Saying “it’s ADHD medicine” in context of its military use is wrong.

Dextroamphetamine was used by the US in WW2.
Germans used Methamphetamine.
"From April to July 1940, German service members on the Western Front received more than 35 million methamphetamine pills. "

AI could have saved them millions making the same stupid decisions.
You can solve 2 layers with logic. The 3rd requires patterns. You can discover patterns on your own by doing repeated motions until the cube returns to its original state. I came across a pattern that swapped colors on one side. That got me all the way to everything but 2 corners that needed to be rotated. On my own, I never discovered the pattern that rotated corners.

I’ve had to block so many German Lemmy’s. It’s frustrating because I can tell it’s a good article and I believe European news more than US news now.

Blue_Morpho@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•how to get unbanned from communities?4·11 days agoI think because I warned some users a couple of times over a year ago, that he thinks I’m a sock puppet of the person/people he has banned. When he got angry about my warning the user, I didn’t engage at all. But a year later in that thread about Discovery, I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t notice that I replied to him.
He seems to have a lot of drama around him.
Is there a Lemmy equivalent to karma court?
Blue_Morpho@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•how to get unbanned from communities?5·11 days agoLook at my history. That wasn’t the reason I was banned. Over a year ago I warned another user that I saw that mod ban an account for arguing. That post history was there and flying squid warned him to not do that sort of thing in Ten Forward. A year later I made the mistake of replying to a post that he posted to me. The post was about the writing in Discovery.
You can see my last post on tenforward that got banned. He deleted it but of course in Lemmy it’s only hidden so you can still view it.
So yeah, not only did he ban me but he lied about the reason.
Here is the proof.

Blue_Morpho@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•how to get unbanned from communities?63·12 days agoI got banned from tenforward for saying the ending of Star Trek Discovery didn’t make sense. No name calling, no back and forth arguing, just my statement and a reply explaining one point of my previous post. But that reply was to a mod who didn’t like my explanation.
I messaged mods and nothing.
Bluesky didn’t start with millions. Europeans chose it when there were none. Like Facebook getting its start because Savarin used his college frat connections across the country to get the ball rolling, I’m sure there were paid influencers who got things moving for Bluesky.
GUI. Ray Tracing. Generative Adversarial Networks and Diffusion Models.
Those things can have their place. But not on a restaurant website when I’m trying to order curry.
It’s infuriating!
You have a comically large magnet.
