I actually haven’t seen one that does that yet. Although most of the stores they have near me put them in a while ago though. They typically want to retain the info for loss prevention purposes. I know the store closest to me would have to audit all of the non sale transactions at the end of the day or next morning.

Legal catch sizes are ridiculous in some places too, no shorter than 19, no longer than 22"
I just move on to the next machine, let them deal with clearing out your order with the machine.

Fresh ingredients, clean facilities, etc as like a mini advertisement. They could be like adverts and incentivize the restaurants to let them film.
Plus not all TV has to be dramatic.

Corkyskog@sh.itjust.worksto World News@lemmy.world•Israel Launches Operation Rising Lion To Destroy Iran’s Nuclear ProgramEnglish21·3 days agoWell yeah, Iran probably could make a nuke today with what they have. The difference is if they did that and shot it at Israel and the nuke fails they would still have a dirty bomb plan B.
Corkyskog@sh.itjust.worksto World News@lemmy.world•Israel Launches Operation Rising Lion To Destroy Iran’s Nuclear ProgramEnglish12·3 days agoWhat’s to stop Iran from just launching a dirty missile at Israel? Wouldn’t interpreting it still cause a bunch of nuclear waste in Israel?
Not advocating for that, but I am just surprised I never see the topic come up.
Corkyskog@sh.itjust.worksOPto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•The Health Departments should create Kitchen Nightmares type shows and use proceeds to for further funding.3·4 days agoI think by nature it would be that way as they aren’t going to do a half dozen reshoots to get a dramatic conversation. It could also be a nice advertisement for clean restaurants. How reassuring would it be to see that your favorite restaurant is using fresh ingredients that are dated, stored and handled properly!

I knew we were cooked when conservatives stopped being willing to talk policy and always default back to politicians.
It’s almost getting harder to find accurate information now with information overload, especially when a ton of it is just AI or SEI marketing sites.

Their parameters are broad and vague, so I could easily see a claim that it is unfairly giving you a better game play than others. Nothing about their parameters mentions multiplayer, so one would assume it apply’s to all play styles.
In the extremely unlikely scenario this came to some kind of litigation the determining factor would probably be the question of whether there is anyway for players to compare single player gameplay at all in a reasonable way? If they have a leader board for single player or anything like that, including even social media tracking single player stats then I think it’s possible it is determined to be giving an unfair advantage.

It’s outlaying the parameters and then it goes on to give some common examples so a rational actor can get a good idea behind the meaning of the parameters. It’s not an exhaustive list of all activities that could violate their parameters.

Well they apparently have a time from inactivity to human resolution time tracker. If things look sketchy, especially multiple times they start investigating the self service employee.
But again, these machines are relatively old. I am not even sure if they have an auto reset or void feature. I have had to ask a clerk to clear out a prior order because of said system failure.
