Audacity does as well and I use it to edit pictures sometimes.
Yes pictures.
You can get some interesting effects from it.

The shaft was only a 7.3?!?
Well we know what they’re into…

Magma is stored in the balls I see
That explains a lot
After awhile it’s cozy y’know?
The roar of heavy machinery whirring away for 9+ hours a day, pulsing at thousands of RPM, the calm of solving puzzles in the chaos… it’s peaceful.
The news folks always ask me how I keep my sanity in all the noise and chaos, and it always makes me laugh. It takes a special kind of crazy to do my job for as long as I have and it shows.
Every day loading and unloading trucks with 60 other forklifts all blasting around on a dock with only 130 doors while going 8mph. It rains, you get wet. It snows, you plow through it. It’s 100F outside, it’s 110F on the dock and 120F in the trailers. The sun rises, you get to watch it rise over the snowy mountains. The sun sets, you get to watch it over the water.
It’s not for everyone, but damn can it be right for the right kinda of people.
When I was young I thought everyone had a fucked up childhood
Boy was that an eye opener
Beans, rice, lentils, oat meal, almonds, some frozen mixed veggies, and some soy nuggets; that’s basically all I eat anymore due to the rising costs of food. And portion control as well because hot damn are costs flying up.
It’s dirt cheap and filling as hell, but damn do I miss going out to eat every weekend with the guys. We only go out once a month now and this last meet up we brought up not going out to eat but doing potlucks instead (which I’m down for for sure).

asymptomatic long-COVID
The hell even is that? Asymptomatic means no symptoms. Long-COVID isn’t a contagious thing, it’s literally a description of the symptoms you have from having COVID and the long term effects.
God that makes my freaking blood boil.
Damn @BigBenis@lemmy.world that was a hell of a conversation you we having.

I support the elimination of copyright in it’s current form
The way it was initially was fine IMO: 14 years, with an option to renew it at the end of those 14 years. ONCE.
Now in terms of patenting medications, if it was partially paid for with public money it’s the public’s patent. In other words it’s open for everyone. Made a new medication but took a government grant to help fund it? It’s public when it comes out, enjoy a nice hearty reward check for your efforts.
I agree, my source? Every time I try to lift a cat off of my lap or off of a surface they’re not supposed to be on.

Don’t forget to donate to your favorite distro (and other open source projects) to help them keep the lights on.
Gotta do our part to fight the massive mega corps from devouring every aspect of our lives.
It captures them a shitton of data that they very likely sell or use to get advertisers on board.
Another good day to live on the West Coast of the US I see.
Damn am I happy to live over here.
But how will I then hang my coat?

My main gaming rig is my last system not running Linux right now, I’ve been migrating my stuff over on my other systems for a couple months now (I keep getting distracted lol)
But not that I’ve got alts for the software I normally use on my main rig it’s finally time, 2 months ahead of schedule.

They were under 21 so it’s gotta be a rifle at the very least.
(Local gun laws in my neck of the woods say you gotta be 21 to get a handgun)

Only if the kid gets a gun too
This is America after all, they’ve got to open carry and drive everywhere otherwise it’s un-American activity. And we can’t have that.

If the survey hit for me 1 week from now I’d be on Linux, I’m literally setting my system up properly next Saturday
Thank you for your service 🥂
More options is always good (they can miss me with that gen AI trash though)
I wonder how easy it is to use compared to GIMP or Krita?
(I still suck with Krita but that’s a me thing lol)
