Bootable Amulet of Bazzite (Rare) => Frame Surge: Boosts performance by 15% of all inventory in the Wayland dimension. => Steam Incantation: Casts “Protonic assimilation” for all loot in unexplored dungeons (+2 compatibility). => Artifact of Immutability: Auto-repairs equipment after a dungeon raid. => Weakness - Package Curse: Outside the gaming regions, productivity wanes (-2 chances of legendary packages when opening chests).

Spell: Vulkan Forge (Uncommon) => Instantly summons Vulkan-powered rendering. => Can crit for +20 FPS, but may randomly glitch on older drivers (-1 stability).

Dungeon: Library of Protonic Lore => Encounter: Boss-level incompatible game. => Loot: XP towards seamless gaming or… disappointment (roll d20).

I went through a similar path to yours, and settled on Bazzite. If gaming is not your main thing, you might want to check out the ublue project to learn about the other spins

It failed because their business model was very stupid. Paying a hefty price for what should have been a F2P with paid cosmetics was it’s doom.

However, I bet it would have had a hard time anyways even if they did everything right.

There’s no chance Deadlock beats Rivals.

Rivals is simpler and is based on the world’s most valuable franchise. It’s the formula behind it’s mass adoption. Deadlock requires the player to think more, and that alone makes it less popular than more braindead games.

I’ve been playing it since their public release and honestly, it feels worse than Overwatch, the animations are floaty, attacks look and sound weightless, it’s the exact opposite to God of War for example. To give you an idea, it feels like a 90’s MMO in that regard.

That said, it’s a hell of a fun ride. There’s a great amount of content, the mechanics are awesome, each character is a game on it’s own, it has some of my favorite characters from the Marvel universe and some I didn’t know about. Truly enjoyable, and the success it has been received with is well worth it. I hope they become sustainable, this game needs more polish but it has so much potential.

I’m actually interested in installing Coolify and trying Postiz, I might go for the hosted cloud plan for work stuff. I pay for a lot of free software, I appreciate the pro support but I like to know that if you make bad decisions like going closed source or rising the price by %500, I can still operate self hosted until I switch to an alternative or a fork. This hasn’t happened with anything I pay for yet, but it has happened to software I don’t use. So I like to be safe and have a plan B just in case.

I tried it, it’s fairly decent. Although imho, they went with quantity over quality.

Framework Home Console with Steam OS, it would be awesome for PC newcomers.

Both Ubuntu and Fedora ship with it by default, so everyone running those distros is using fwupd.

It’s a valid POV. My take is opposite: All the CDs and DVDs I ever bought will eventually fail to work, the disc drives will fail to work too. My Steam account is 21 years old. I can still play games I bought 21 years ago, even on my Steam Deck and desktop Linux PCs.

I wish Sony comes to the same conclusion soon.
