Seeing the news with Google domains, I’m looking to move registrars, and was wondering who everyone uses.

Only registrar I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with that will actually actively attempt to block you from transferring domains away from them.
Whatever you do, just don’t ever use GoDaddy.
