We need to crackdown on the root cause of the majority of the countries issues. Conservative cunts.
Occasionally I’ll see a back bench MP stand up to the government, and I realize why the conservatives as a political party exist. I would never vote for them, but they could be moderately reasonable when they tried, but lately they’ve just stopped trying and now they’re just going after the ultra-nationalist moron vote.
Even if you were that way politically inclined, it isn’t the 19th century anymore, isolationism and xenophobia are not viable long-term strategies.
They don’t need to “Stop The Boats”, they need to encourage immigration of talented people, what the hell are they doing?
I do think though that a lot of people are going to be quite disappointed when the next government don’t actually do very much.
I do unfortunately agree, the whole thing is a mess, Tories are adhorrent but the others aren’t much better.
If we survive this, people will lie and, incredibly, everyone was on the side of taking action on climate change.
I think most people are on the side of taking action, it’s just that we either can’t decide upon the action to take, or we’re gaslighted into thinking it’s all already over, and therefore there’s no point in doing anything, or holding anyone to account.
On the side of taking action as long as someone else pays for it.

Forst said that during a two-day visit to the UK earlier this month he uncovered worrying information on the treatment of peaceful protesters.
“It is important to highlight that, prior to these legislative developments, it had been almost unheard of since the 1930s for members of the public to be imprisoned for peaceful protest in the UK,” said Forst, in a statement issued on Tuesday morning.
These include being forced to wear tags while awaiting trial, restrictions on movement, and bans on speaking to other environmental activists.
“Some environmental defenders have also been required to wear electronic ankle tags, some including a 10pm-7am curfew, and others, GPS tracking,” said Forst.
He called for a constructive dialogue with the Conservative government to ensure that members of the public seeking to protect the environment were not subject to persecution, penalisation or harassment for doing so.
