Thoughts on how to set up for the next few months? I think Cody Baker’s been playing really well - first saw him at Starfire in the USOC game and he was an immediate standout, and he seems to have earned some playing time. Try Alex up a line in the midfield with Cristian still at the Gold Cup? He’s played there for Guatemala in the past. Or move Baker to the bench and see if the free-roaming Nico “winger” experiment works better with Alex providing consistent width up the flank?

Sounders seem pretty tight against the salary cap, but would you try to unload anyone / make any acquisitions in the summer transfer window? Or try to stand pat until Jordan & Cristian come back?

Sounders have VAN (7/9), SJ (7/12), and DAL (7/15) left until Leagues’ Cup. Somehow, we’re #2 in the West (though LAFC and STL both have a game in hand). Thoughts on the approach to the League’s cup? Should we be fielding as close to a first-choice lineup as possible, or should we be playing the kids?
