The Golden Bolt: mostly PSX & PS2 era retrospectives. He has a complete and exhaustive Ratchet and Clank series covering both every mainline entry and all spin off titles (including the java phone game!).
His stuff is a bit shorter than a lot of creators in the genera. I’d say 45mins - 1 1/2 hours is standard for him.
I just discovered Tim Rogers (Action Button) the other day from another community. Every video I’ve seen has become an instant favorite.
Ross Scott (Accursed Farms) is like my comfort food in this genre.
I loved Joseph Anderson, but I think he might have gotten out of the game.
Finally, MandaloreGaming and MatthewMatosis are two other favorites that I’ve watched for a long time.
These are all new to me! Looks great.
It must be a huge genre because I also didn’t know any of the creators I saw posted here so far apart from Jacob Geller
Heck of a lot bigger than I thought. I was worried I was running out of content in a niche genera. Seems unlikely now.
Just a heads up that Joe Anderson isn’t out of the game! He’s currently working on his white whale of a witcher 3 video and streams pretty regularly in the mean time. He has a great second channel with a lot of old vods on it if anyone wants to check it out (it’s linked through his main). I recommend the danganronpa streams
