Been thinking about this after someone posted a video to this community for the first time
Post only images. No gifs, videos or articles.
This is one of the rules stickied to the top of the community. But it’s only there because at the time of creating traditional_art I looked to r/art for guideline inspiration and took it from there without further thought.
It only makes sense to have rules that are voted on by the rest of the community. So what do you guys think? Should users be able to post videos? (and gifs and articles to that extent about art instead of merely being restricted to images?)
Art documentaries are great. So are installations. I personally prefer me a good, traditional painting or similar, but accept that art expands into other mediums, and discussing/ documentary is also valuable.
