    It’s a Ficus, probably Ficus watkinsiana but need to see fruit or leaves be sure. It’s likely on another tree which is why it’s so straight.

      Interesting! I didn’t realise they were hollow inside. Strangler figs are full of surprises.

      I reckon your ID is correct even though the leaves/fruit were too far up to see properly. Thanks!

        They aren’t always hollow, all depends on the inside species and time.

        Likely F.wats, there are others but that’s the predominant rainforest one.
