I think there is a bug or edge case with the code that checks if a server allows downvoting. After updating voyager last night, I couldn’t downvote any posts on .world with voyager while I could if I just used the website. My thought was that since I updated voyager while lemmy.world had some downtime it may have defaulted the downvotes_enabled setting to false.

Several hours later, it works now.
Yeah I think the request just failed.
I’ll add a workaround for if the request fails
