Ross Ulbricht is the founder of the first well-known darknet market Silk Road. Julian Assange is one of the founders of Wikileaks, a whistleblower site. Roman Semyonov, Alexey Pertsev and Roman Storm seems to be related to cryptocurrency laundering. Hadn’t heard of them. I’d add: Chelsea Manning, another whistleblower. Aaron Swartz was accused of sharing MIT’s academic articles and committed suicide.
