Me, explaining to her why cutting down a shotgun is not a good idea as part of a robust a self defense posture, given the history of the technique, the resulting ergonomics, and the wide availability of superior compact self defense items. She is very receptive to my lecture and has agreed to a second date.

Ruby Ridge was a real life event where the ATF set up and pretextually attacked a family in Idaho

Nah I know; I was just referencing RWBY, from RoosterTeeth (which was chosen as the name because they couldn’t call it CockBite)

btw, here is a link to season 1 on yt with no tracker, if you’re interested, or for anyone else who may be. The first couple seasons are really good, if you can deal with a little bit of finding the groove. Unfortunately, the creator passed away in a freak surgical accident; many fans feel the quality of the show dropped at that point, obviously, but it ran for several more seasons.

If you’re into weapons that were inspired by Final Fantasy 7 and Steel, and human-animal homunculusses, you’ll be ok.
