No, we don’t need our racing drivers to be pristine, perfectly packaged, child-safe Marvel superheroes. Not everybody on earth is a child.
Really wish people would stop trying to make these sports stars moral role models. They’re here to drive cars faster and better than anyone else and not be moral paragons for children to look up to.
Just because this guy likes to get pegged every 7th race by his team doesn’t mean we should try to change him because little Timmy’s parents don’t like men taking it in the butt. We should celebrate all the choices he’s made that have developed him into the unique driver we all know and love today.
The super rich have to keep their wealthy pawns in line to condition the masses. They’ve been banging various forms of this drum since MBS took over.
The FIA can go fuck itself.
Rally drivers have even more reasons to swear than F1 drivers, fucking leave them alone
Especially when they are interviewed after every special stage when they are just full of adrenaline. The drivers are going to be silent this weekend in Kenia. Let’s see will FIA force them to speak.
Rally drivers need to be able to express themselves, otherwise we wouldn’t get gems like this.
The FIA can get the fuck off the drivers’ backs
Mohammed Ben Sulayem can eat a dick.
Get this fucking dipshit outta there. We do not need some bullshit moral leader running the FIA. We need someone that actually cares about the driver safety and the integrity of the various racing leagues. That’s it.
Leave the penalty for cursing up to the teams or the people that broadcast. The governing body for racing shouldn’t have any say over that the drivers are or are not allowed to say.
Oh fuck off

Bullshit. Drivers are drivers, not role models. Why should we expect them to be exemplars of morals, and experts of cultural sensitivity? We don’t expect them to be well educated, great parents or philosophers.
Let them drive fast.
