By default, a downvoted comment has its points highlighted blue while a negative user vote count is orange. Meanwhile, an upvoted comment is also orange. The orange and blue for a down voted comment with a negative user vote count looks mismatched.
I think adding the ability to customize the up/downvote colors would be nice. Particularly for the OCD among us. Or just make the two negative colors the same.
EDIT: Ah, so the thing is, the user vote count used to be green when it was positive. Currently it’s all orange regardless of value. If that’s just changed to green then I’m fine with that too.
On my app (Mlem on iOS) the number is black and then the icon for upvote or downvote is blue or red

Huh, so the opposite of Connect. I’ve tried a couple of apps and so I’ve seen the variations.
My main issue is with the contradicting colors. Connect just recently added user vote counts and I’m not aware if Mlem has added this feature. I’m on Android and don’t use an iOS device at the moment.
Hi, thanks for the report. I just pushed an update which should A) match the vote colours to the usual colours B) added downvote colour customization to Theme. Cheers!
