jerboa is not even in beta version it is still alpha, considering that, its pretty good.

Yes, but there are issues such as lack of sorting comments in the app.

you can install it without f-droid but you will update manually which is much backbreaking, also if you want foss apps suggestion just ask me there’s a lot of cool things from f-droid
