hav you tried the fdroid version mas updated dun kaysa sa playstore.
I think since opensource naman ang jerboa, mabilis ang magiging development niyan. kahit hindi 3rd devs.

I wouldn’t say horrible ang Jerboa, it is just not yet fully developed it is still in alpha version pa nga lang eh
For iOS I use mlem. I like it so far kaya lang nagccrash every 5 mins. Understandable since nasa alpha/beta stage pa lang naman.
