# Welcome to c/fungusid @ Mander.xyz! Have you ever noticed a mushroom you
didn’t recognize, or wonder what the mycelium growing in your yard belonged to?
Look no further, you’ve come to the right place! We help others identify fungus.
When posting, please consider providing the geographic location. Here’s a
helpful mushroom identification guide [https://i.imgur.com/1YBL3.png]
Hello all, there’s a new community for identifying different types of fungi! Feel free to come join us!
Hey, did you know that if you drop the “https://” from the link it will take people to the page without leaving their Lemmy instance? This way they don’t have to sign back in to their account. Try this: mander.xyz/c/fungusid
Edit: huh, nevermind. Thought I had this figured out. Both links are acting the same. Back to the documentation for me.
The correct syntax should be [!fungusid@mander.xyz](/c/fungusid@mander.xyz) but for mysterious reasons the community cannot be found on other servers (yet?) : !fungusid@mander.xyz
