Android@lemmy.world•How do you develop an app for a dual screen device?English
4·1 month agoMaybe try the jetpack window manager, https://developer.android.com/codelabs/android-window-manager-dual-screen-foldables
It says it’s for foldables and dual screen devices. Also check if Ayaneo has any sort of sdk
I also see there is Presentation for displaying content on a second screen, https://developer.android.com/reference/android/app/Presentation

Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Back then, have you ever pirated movie rentals onto DVD / VCD or ripped them?English
3·2 months agoI did. A friend pitched in for a netflix account, back when they’d mail you a DVD or two at a time, and I’d keep a rotation coming in where is rip a disc and drop it back in the mail to await the next in the queue.
Then gamefly came around and I sure the same for PS2 games. 😎

Linux@lemmy.ml•TIL: It is 2026 and you still can not run Snaps in strict mode on Debian-based systemsEnglish
7·3 months agoAmen, ✊🏻
These changes aren’t going to prevent a developer from firing up Android studio and running their app. Distribution is where you’ll encounter some speed bumps as these changes go into effect.
Dogs and cats can live in that same home, so yeah you could still step on a turd.

If a phone is lost or stolen, at least that security of unlocking to tap-to-oay will prevent purchases from being made. A plastic card, not so much.
