Recently I had a server failure… I was in the middle of Sg-1.
So went to prime video to watch it…
It was 4:3 dark and the audio was horrible… Oh and ads. It has ads.
Gross :/
Haha it’s just nice I’ve been here long enough to where I’m recognizing the same memes / images being posted.
This is the first repost on Lemmy I’ve seen! :)!
I’m going to give a shout out to Ironicbadger over at https://perfectmediaserver.com/
One of his most recent builds was on promox
I’ve been running his 2017 version of Debian with docker-compose - zfs and mergerfs. And it’s been rock solid for ages and ages.
I’ve gotten it via email and via dm
I’ve reported as spam in Gmail and blocked the user on old.reddit
Fuck them and their bags.
hey man get on vent
Man those were the days .
I had to print something yesterday… I submitted it to staples and went and picked it up.
Cost me $2
I expect that 10 pages will be all I’ll have to print in 2024.
In the last 5 years I’ve spent less than $10 on printing.
If I had to actually print items… I’d get a inexpensive brother laser printer
Man GPM was the jam… found so many new artists with that service. I was an early adopter and gladly paid my monthly fee.
And then YouTube music happened… the bastards.
I rolled my own Plex server and am on plexamp for music now.
I’ll never go back to streaming.
Minecraft has fishing… one of my metrics for me “beating” Minecraft is getting a pole that is enchanted and pulls other enchanted items out of the water.
Ive wasted enjoyed so much time just listening to music and fishing in that game.
I’m sure beats have a pink headphone… They are of the highest quality. /s!!!
Tho… Is she an audiophile? Probably not if she’s Bluetoothing. Beats might be an option. As shitty as that option might be.
Edit: Apparently they have gotten better… https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/uofqp4/whats_so_bad_about_beats_headphones/
Yeah I use overseerr on mine.
I’ve got the full stack of arr’s with overseerr for requests from the outside users. And I’m on Usenet with several different indexers.

They are all about low cost high performance builds.
Quicksync from Intel with an igpu is a god send . I’m running an i3 in my Plex server and it’s a hoss.
Good luck op
I use ConnectBot I’ve had it installed for ages and ages.
This is absolutely the way. My wife needed windows for school recently… Ltsc was the only way to go.
I use windows 11 for work and it’s absolutely horrible… took them a year to let us ungroup windows on the task bar. Win11 literally didn’t ship with that ability.
An ex of mine would only smoke when she was drinking.
Nothing better with your 3rd beer than a cigarette… Apparently.
If she didn’t have that 3rd beer. She’d never drink.
so just stop buying digital copies, keep physical media alive.
That’s the only way forward honestly.
We have to return to physical media. Tho I fear it’s too late.
Idk man… I feel like if I pay ~$40 for a digital item… I should have the same rights with it as the physical copy.
If a digital market place sells me the item… I should be able to return to that market place and redownload it.
Basically once they sell it… they are obligated to host the files.
Or as an alternative … I get 1 download of a drm free product. And everything after that is rebuy.
This sell it for $40 and then it’s gone off your game system or out of your account I think is shit business practice.
Streaming services can do what they want with their content… because you’re paying x money a month to access it… that’s the assumed behavior. Digital products advertised as “buy it on digital” should behave as items purchased and owned by the end user.
Maybe that’s just me being pro consumer…
Thanks. I wasn’t aware of the difference
Let’s toss them in a lake! If they die they weren’t a witch! If they don’t… We then know they are a witch!
Either way… Huzzah!
