Me too !
I loved all space related stuff as a kid so my dream was to become an astrophysicist.

Some reactors can even cool down the river ! This is the case for the Civeau reactor for example, the water released is cooler than the water pump from the river.

I think organizations working around sensitive installations could be interested.
For example the car used to drive around nuclear powerplants, military installations or just industrial equipment. Modern cars have GPS and cameras and you don’t want to have random cameras recording around sensitive installations.
They could remove the cameras but then the car would not be road legal anymore.
A Linux based head unit would allow them to customize it to the level of security they require while still retaining the benefit of modern cars.
It’s a niche but a niche that have the means to infest a lot in development

I don’t know much about the current prices but maybe a second hand Prusa MK4 ?
I bought one a few months after they released it and it’s still printing perfectly for me after more than 4000 hours of print time.

For the IPO I think only 7% of the value of the company was for their space related activities (what they are actually doing). 93% of the value was for the non existent AI activities.
SpaceX is now a public company valued for its AI potential, so what comes next?

See Zelensky
It’s not really comparable, my mom didn’t buy a PlayStation because she couldn’t afford it.
Now I don’t have a kid because it’s expensive and I can’t afford it … But it’s totally different

It’s not going to end well for the belters

As long as it’s not llm I’m fine with it

The Tartar Steppe,
it’s been a life altering book for me and it so come in my mind from time to find when I’m thinking about what I’m doing with my life.
I think It always been like that in temperate climate.
Growing enough food to survive a year is the easy part, preserving it so you still have food to eat at the end of winter is the hardest and most time consuming part.

Even without checking the username I could see it was a .ml user.
There is several wild cucurbitacae in the Caribbean, for example you can find this one:

It’s called “Ti konkonm” which mean small cucumber in creole

It’s not even a surprise, this is from SpaceX s-1 document: only 7% of their estimated valuation is from Space related activities

Thank you for the warning.
So let me share my experience to balance it out: in my village there is a tiny building by the road that used to be a gas station in the 50s/60s.
Today the main road has been diverted so only local traffic is passing by and the station has been closed for decades.
10 years ago a group of people decided to transform the building, they got money from the town for paint and changing the window and now it’s like a little free library but for books, toys and clothes. The whole village is using it.
A lot of it is kid clothing, it’s always open without anyone to supervise it and people are respectful, it stays clean and people don’t storm the place to resell what they can.

They’re monolingual and anything written in English isn’t valid since it’s not the official language of any European country.

There is an issue with your argument, fast charging is rarely used by EV owner.
EV can charge from a regular outlet overnight. So everyone with a private parking spot is charging their car overnight. Of cities can build outlets where there is public parking then only long distance travelers have to use the fast chargers.
