They may also just be a combined washer and dryer unit in one that does both functions due to a lack of space.

Your biggest issue is going to be the protein source, most of them require refrigeration.
Try things with canned meats, like canned tuna with Mac and cheese.
You can get canned chicken to go with some sort of pasta and tomato sauce.
Canned beef with potatoes.

Factorio is one of my cheapest games ever.

I’m almost 60 hours into factorio’s space age expansion that just came out out 10 days ago. However I have over 2500 hours in the base game.

From a technical perspective, yes, there could be health risks from hair in your food. There may be chemicals in the hair from various hair products or there could be bacterial contamination, though that’s a low risk unless you’re consuming a lot of hair that hadn’t been cooked.
In reality, it’s unlikely a few hairs are going to cause any sort of issue other than texture/mouth feel.
