I know it under the name of Stop Doing Science.
What a strange thing to hate. It makes you angry when people struggle with social anxiety?
Genuinely, can we stop downvoting OP’s comments and post? No matter how little you can relate to this, it’s not justified to downvote someone not understanding why others find this weird. My god, this is No Stupid Questions, the last place where we should punish someone for confessing something that is important for them!
Be humane. Treat other people’s struggles with respect.
Nothing. It’s just an odd question because most people don’t see or understand how someone could be interested in this. They assume it’s something sexual or otherwise kinky. I think it’s just an obscure preference and people are once again forgetting that this is No Stupid Questions…
Huh, I always thought “ain’t shit” comes from “this is so bad, it ain’t even shit”. Was probably just my personal take to explain it.
French pronunciation intensifies
It’s not historic, though. If that were the case, I would’ve 100 % agreed.
The post clearly addresses this problem. This discussion is not about the genetic risks of having children (which should be prevented according to OP), rather only about the relationship.
Yess!!
Doesn’t work. Sync just can’t load them.
Why does this specific issue only happen to Sync then? I know that some things simply won’t load because they aren’t federated on your instance, which is not only a Lemmy-wide, but a Fediverse-wide issue. This only applies to some of the comments though, not the ones that I can see just fine in my browser.
Absolutely not. I have maybe one blocked account – and that was a spambot.
I worded that badly. What I meant was that the reason humans have prejudice-y thinking hardwired in the brain is for self-protection. If individuals of some ape species have a 30 % chance of being super aggressive and trying to kill you on the spot, your first reaction to seeing one will be negative and retiring – even if this specific one is super nice and wouldn’t hurt a soul.
Thanks for the PSA :)
I’d argue that it’s still prejudice, as the word only means to assume behavior from the appearance alone. But in a positive way, as prejudices originally existed for self-protection.
I’d interpret “no consequences” as absolutely no consequences, so a hard reset. In that way killed people get alive again, yes.
So everything is pointless unless you remember it? Is everything pointless just because you die either way and everything will be lost?
Thank you!
