Mr. Rogers would be proud. :)
When were you a really little kid?
Windows 10 eol is Oct. 14, 2025. 18 more months.
Next time it happens unplug the front case connector and short the power pins. If it comes on, replace the power switch and wires.
Don’t do it! Ghosts will show up and ruin your Christmas.
Now everyone know you use proprietary software.
I’m glad you can still trust Noone. Whoever they are.
I used to use Cinelerra back in the day. It’s a non-linear editor like Premiere. If I could figure it out with YouTube more than a decade ago, it shouldn’t be too hard.
Yeah, I watched a couple of his review videos years ago and then more started popping up on my feed. I’d occasionally click on one and everytime I did more red flags would appear. Mention of weapons? Well he is on a ranch. Wait, that’s not a ranch. Homesteader? Huh. Vaguely concealed racist, anti-Obama dogwhistle. Gotcha, blocked.
Someone gave me a Dewalt tool set when I did a favor for them. Both Dewalt and Craftsman are owned by Stanley and the Dewalt tools are identical to the new Craftsman.
Also I had 1 small piece break in that Dewalt set and Dewalt replaced it with a whole new set of tools, so now I have 2.
I still have and use all my old Craftsman tools from the 90s. One of my 1/4 ratchets broke and since it’s a made in the USA tool, I figured I would look for parts online and try to repair it. Unfortunately the parts cost more than the wrench on ebay, so I decided to take it to Lowes (who now distributes Craftsman tools) to see if they would honor the lifetime warranty. They had no qualms about honoring the warranty and replaced it with the current model, knowing full well the tool was 30 years old. The new ratchet is more ergonomic, has a finer tooth count and not nearly as sloppy as the old one. So shout out to Stanley and Lowes for doing the right thing.
Oh no, my bones!
My cousin’s wife was an ER nurse for 19 years and quit her job back in 2022 after dealing with the covid patients that “knew better” for 2 and a half years. This attitude seems to still be prevelant in a certain subset of people. They know they need help but they’ve been indoctrinated into believing things that are not in their best interests. I’m sure tiktok told him he could cure his diabetes with microgreens or some shit and his “research” tops all of the medical and nursing degrees in your building.
No precipitation to speak of so it wasn’t that bad. Nothing really closed down and the roads were good. Supposed to be 72 degrees (22c) tomorrow, thank fuck.
I’ve always wondered why they string random letters together. What does Amazon make the sellers do?
And this is why you’re not allowed to pick up the kids from school anymore.
I think it was Technology Connections that did a video on French door fridges. One major problem with them (among the countless others) is airflow. Refrigerators have one refrigeration unit for both the fridge and freezer. The air is cooled in the freezer and moved to the less cool fridge. Cool air is denser than warmer air so it falls. Conventional fridges (freezer on top) were designed that way on purpose. When the freezer is on bottom you add levels of complexity and work against what has already been proven effective. That’s not a problem, per se, because humans are ingenious. But in order to compete with traditional fridges these companies have to do this at the mercy of the lowest bidder.
