My favorite is how they claim that PRC doesn’t invade anyone, ignorant of their attempts in Korea (Korean War) and Vietnam (after the Americans left).

Stupid and unlikely thought I had: The West don’t want Russia to know just how weak it really is against the West so that Russia doesn’t kick itself into high gear trying to truly modernize its forces by eliminating the grift and corruption that plagues its MIC. A Russia plagued by a corrupt military is a Russia that is essentially toothless in an armed conflict.
Of course, this doesn’t excuse not allowing deep Russian strikes with already provided equipment.
Would a home count as unrealized gains? Because I’d be fucked if I got taxed on it more than I already do.
I’ll admit I don’t know how Lemmy works in communicating to each other. However, Internet traffic is labeled in some manner. It has to be to ensure data traverses the web of routers we call the Internet. Lemmy instances have to identify each other to share their information to each other.
Just ban whatever traffic Lemmy instances are looking for.
All of these comments and not a single shout-out to the original StarCraft manual. Back stories and histories of the three races that culminated in their eventual discovery of each other.
Is my math wrong? Didn’t that guy reporting to Putin say 20km deep and 14km wide? At best, that’s 280 square kilometers. And Ukraine is stating it’s nearly 5x as much. Someone help me here.
When applying to a US government position with a certain security clearance, they will do background checks of you, your family and extended family, if need be.
And I’m sure that can be the case for any employer who needs background checks. That being said, I also suspect some of these people in the database are dead.
Did you read the article? They only said that the process to vote went smoothly, despite all the stations having only one machine for 800 voters, causing long wait times and delays. They don’t mention anything about third party confirmation of the vote tallies, no references to exit polls, and a huge section dedicated to US interference.
Might as well say “Far left organization supports supposedly far left authoritarian governments word without verification.”
Apparently, the true location isn’t known anyways. And there’s a museum located nearby dedicated to it.
The Beaver, Dartmouth, and Eleanor were moored at Griffin’s Wharf in Boston. It is at this location where the December 16, 1773 destruction of the tea occurred. The original location of the Boston Tea Party no longer exists because of extensive landfills that destroyed the location. This was caused by the city of Boston’s rapid expansion in the 19th century. In 18th century Boston, Griffin’s Wharf was a bustling center for maritime commerce and shipping. The exact location of the original Griffin’s Wharf is open to debate, but the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, located on the Congress Street Bridge, is located near the approximate area where the Boston Tea Party took place. A historical marker commemorating the Boston Tea Party stands on the corner of Congress and Purchase streets.
I generally try to find things that make me laugh if I get to this point. I look up old Whose Line episodes or moments, Improv-a-ganza, and recently Dropout shows like Game Changer and Dirty Laundry.
The cynic in me says these articles are all about fear mongering to permanently increase spend baselines in the MIC. Another part of me is saying that the industrial shortcomings are great to highlight and beef up now to ensure a deterrence and capacity for any conflict where the US is obligated to participate in (such as Taiwan).
Considering that all of the platforms have the “non-transferable” clause in their EULAs… It seems to be an industry issue, not a Steam one.
Every single port, cable, switch and router between your fiber ONT to your laptop has to support that bandwidth. What model is your laptop? What model is your router?
When you say directly connect to the router, are you physically right next to the router testing the speed? Or are you plugging your laptop into ports installed throughout your home?
Wasn’t there an article last year that said that Chinese EVs have sent so many vehicles to Europe, they couldn’t get them out of the shipyards? Did that get resolved?
For almost 20 years, Google’s phones have been pretty friendly to ROM flashing. I suspect that so long as Apple and Samsung have such a large market share, that will continue.
EDIT: 15, not 20
Paradox has recently gotten hammered on their recent releases, both Golden and Early Access. I wonder if that was part of the reason.
I don’t understand why add the beef…
Paywall on the article. Does it say why?
Just like Y to post a click bait, non-informative post. Here’s an article that has more info.https://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/israel-news/2280460/shockingly-inept-us-missile-defense-system-had-75-failure-rate-in-iran-attack-on-israel.html
The rate is only for SM-3 missiles that targeted ballistics. Israel also had significantly fewer targets and better preparation for their interceptions.
The more people use Firefox, the better. Lots of people had to use Internet Explorer for things… Until they didn’t because Chrome was faster and web devs focused on browser-agnostic technologies.
