PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•According to Steam, the average PC Gamer [recursive reference from PCGamer] writer played 72 games this year (56% of which were new) and used a controller more than we'd like to admitEnglish
1·2 天前Do you possibly have Steam input disabled? I could imagine that they get their statistics from that.
I have multiple compose stacks with one folder each, and they also contain all the bind volumes and any other extra files needed.

33·5 天前Stirring hype has failed too many times. I’m sure they have big plans for the game and it’s going to be very good. However, promising so much so early just screams incoming drama to me.

5·10 天前Pretty disappointed to have a F2P multiplayer shooter as the “one more thing”. But I like that it’s out at the end of January already, and it does look like a creative mash-up of established formulas.
For most software engineering jobs it’s actually more people work than computer work.

8·12 天前That would make me incredibly happy. I recently played Divine Divinity again, and it holds up so well. Sadly the tech is showing it’s age. All it needs is a new engine and a bit of qol.

Gaming@beehaw.org•Where Winds Meet players are tricking AI-powered NPCs into giving them rewards by using the 'Solid Snake method'
27·21 天前I’m playing Where Winds Meet and imo the chatbots are one of the weakest points of the game. You are told it’s a bot, it feels like one, and as there is still a rigid game around this interaction, it’s essentially just a weird romancing minigame. The only reason I engage with this system is because it can be easily cheated. Nothing of value would be lost if this feature was entirely cut from the game.

From the Steam page:
BE WARNED: This game is for players who already master the challenge of My Summer Car. Definitely not recommended for any player not familiar with the original installment.
Very interesting, I really like that approach. However even the first game looks like you need to know a lot about cars beforehand (feel free to correct me on that). Let’s hope enough people will buy it.
Edit: It also uses AI assets, ew…
I don’t even have to try
