How am I supposed to watch something that I want to measure AND keep my finger hovering over the exact spot on the phone without looking? It should simply take any touch in a large area as the trigger.

While a DSLR and similar devices have a dynamic range of something like 14 and more bits at ISO 100, where you lose a whole lot when compressing to 8 bits of a JPG, raws from smartphones contain next to no additional information. Actually the JPG is usually better because of how well tuned the post processing is. Giving me better control over white balance while taking the picture is the only thing that is really missing.

2. Disconnect battery.
3. Let it dry. No rice or dog shit or whatever. Proper desiccant or nothing.
4. Reconnect battery and test.
5. Win or start debugging.
6. Fix it
7. Remove corrosion when everything works only now - unless you expect it to cause the issue, then at least document it before cleaning.
