Just being honest. It isn’t always a nice place, it is a fairly open and honest place. Not shitting on it, just not shining it. It is miles above reddit and the like.

No, it is an open place where CCP shills and Nazis and good people can all say what they want, filter what they don’t, and communicate without shitty corporate overlords or trash mods having all the power.

Economic, trade, soft power, cyber…sure, hell they stand a chance in those. Combat? Not even close, they would be leveled. The tricky part is using the advantage they have in the first few without receiving the kneejerk usage of the last one against them.

In actuality, the CCP influencing anything outside China (and arguably inside China) is a worst case outcome. The US doing so is very quickly moving up the ranks to the second worst. The world is going to need the EU, and allies, to step up and keep both in check.

States cant secede without war. It is a kinda silly dream anyway. It is better to let the red states rot and have a display of how their ideals fail and how blue states flourish, then take our country back, then go through the insane process of digging out the roots and backdoors they are rushing to put in place as we speak

Most Americans have your back too…it’s just our messed up voting and education systems that let the lunatic fringe gain all the power. For a representative democracy, it really doesn’t represent the people.

Do not underestimate how little the VERY VAST majority of people know about government or politics. I recently explained blue/red, left/right, lib/con, progressive/regressive are all related and blew someone’s mind. Then they asked “which ones are the bad ones” and I said “that is subjective and it depends on your views”. After very little explanation, they were socially liberal but fairly conservative fiscally (keep in mind, this was a disconnected completely normal person just going from day to day). It is hard to imagine, with the news and all, people not knowing the basics, but that really is the default. They often only know what they have been told growing up and nothing else.
