This is interesting. In Australia we only ever pronounce it rhyming with gone.

Harry Potter movie series and Lord Of The Rings movie series. Never seen any of them.
Same! Thought there would be more, especially since there a quite a few Aussie instances.
The land down under, Australia.
Judging by a lot of the replies and other discussions I’ve seen, no it’s not the norm.
I’m using an iPhone app. Nothing to do with a web browser or tabs.
Zero. I think I’m the odd one out here. I have a habit of closing all tabs once I’m done, always have.
Great read! Have a good flight!
My first was Machop. My favourite was Charizard. Loved collecting and playing with Pokémon cards. Good times!
I think Mother Nature confused the UK with Australia. It’s supposed to be spring here but it’s been raining non-stop for 3 days and is freezing like winter. Heater has been blaring which is strange for this time of year…
That’s awesome, can’t wait to try it out!
Looks great! Any ideas when it will be released in the App Store?
Thanks for the explanation. Not sure why people are downvoting so much, was asking a genuine question.
Lemmy doesn’t like Libre Office? That’s one I didn’t know. Is it because it’s not as good as Microsoft Office?

Another fantastic update! You guys are killing it! Loving the new comment jump button. Didn’t realise how much I used it in other apps until it wasn’t there anymore. So good to have it back!
And stepping onto said wet floors with socks on…
Started off super excited, to watch my Australian women’s soccer team the Matildas play in their FIFA World Cup semi-final against England…
Now just disappointed that we came so far and missed out right before the grand final.
Been waiting for this app to be released on iOS and it DOES NOT disappoint! Hands down the best way to view Lemmy.
If it’s already this good on its first release I can’t wait to see what the future updates will bring!
As a former Apollo user, this app also brings me back to the good times of using it before it was shutdown.
Fantastic work devs!
As someone who always struggles to use chopsticks, this was incredibly helpful and interesting!
