My personal rule, in broadest terms is that if I cancel someone, they are released upon death.
What warrants cancelling is pretty wishy washy, and I’m sure I’m hypocritical at times. But generally speaking, if the person is dead, I feel free to enjoy their body of work.
If the person is ruined, or in jail, it’s a grey area.
And if the person is continuing to work, with little to no repercussions. They’re banned.
Nobody is more precise than the ruling class in their calibrating how much exploitation they can exact from their beasts of burden (us). That’s their job, that’s where their money comes from. They exploit us.
It’s not gumption. It’s not novelty. It’s not intelligence. It’s cruelty.
I’m going to disagree with most of these comments. They don’t protect the prong so much as they protect the cord or other objects in the cords vicinity (painted surfaces, fragile surfaces, etc). The little plastic cap that covers tire stems on cars and bikes , while keeping it clean when installed, are primary to prevent chaffing issue on the inner tube whike shipped and stored; same thing with this prong shroud. They have holes in them as to not retain moisture I imagine.
Long story short, the prongs are metal and have corners. They are the strongest, “sharpest” thing in the box. The plastic isn’t protecting the prongs from us, it’s protecting us from the prongs.

I recommend going to a pawn shop. They likely have a variety of late model controllers. You can then hold them and see which speaks to you. I bought a ps5 controller from a pawn shop for like $50 over a year ago and I’ve loved it. I use it over Bluetooth with steam and I get rumble and all that.

Which I’ve been saying into the void for a while. Ideally in capitalism demand drives supply. If their demand is lack luster (for people upgrading to premium), rather than trying to cajole people through force into buying their product, they should drop the fucking price. Instead, they want to keep it bundled with music, and thus make it prohibitively expensive, while simultaneously competing in two seperate markets simultaneously. Give the people a video only tier, at a truly reasonable price, and begin (read: continue) to rake in cash. It’s very frustrating.
Well, from a purely imperical viewpoint, it kind of is. Pros: a criminal is captured and potentially made to suffer in some way, which somehow balances out the cosmic scales of justice or something; this high ranking criminal can be plumbed for information, which has many assets seizing and additional criminal capturing implications. Cons: there is no reduction in criminal activity; there is actually an increase in violence and volatility; the power vacuum will inevitably be filled and essentially all the clandestine infiltration/investigation work up to this point resets to square one. Could be someone better, could be someone worse, but absolutely will be someone.

I totally agree. The dude is aging, and not the greatest candidate for advanced years, we’ll say. He’s worth 9 figures. Well, for one example, the British monarchy is about 1500 years old and they’ve done nothing that didn’t serve the cis white community to the detriment of anyone who isn’t a religious white straight person across the entire face of the planet.
I would argue that you should consider who writes the history books and who they serve.
As for real people, I see them everyday. As for breathing people, there are far fewer queer and brown people than there should be, because they were murdered, stolen from, subjugated, repressed, and neglected as a course of standard operating procedure of the “status quo”.
This is a very generous estimation of the depth of their logical thinking.
My personal read is that cis people, especially cis white people, hate pronouns/genders and racial celebration because it’s something they can’t have. That they can’t control. And that doesn’t hinge on them. They’re boring, and insignificant, and they’re bitter and jealous about it.
It’s like a kid who doesn’t want to play a game anymore because they aren’t winning. Not to suggest that they aren’t winning, because by all accounts they’ve been winning for thousands of years. But even still, the panic they feel from any lack of understanding or loss of control is responded to by smashing the game board and pouting with their arms crossed.
