To be fair, I did have a watch that automatically synced itself to the us naval observatories atomic clocks over the air.
To be fair, I did have a watch that automatically synced itself to the us naval observatories atomic clocks over the air.
Which I think its important to point out isn’t an endorsement. It means that we in the west should be doing everything we can to enforce our saftey standards on products sold in our countries, and if that isn’t possible then we should be bringing the manufacturing back onshore.
I’d go as far as Windows 2000. This new XP crap is too shiny, and why did they hide the controls?
Maybe for you. They put windows on cloths machines and people watch the heck out of those, let me watch the dishes clean.
I just want to point out how incredible it is that in today’s age we have this incredible amount of entertainment available. Even if we apply Sturgeons law that’s still a fill years worth of solid games. He’ll, do it twice. That still means there’s at least 5 bangers in that mess, and I find it incredible that most all of that content is recent!
Canada here, paper voting works just fine.
What doesn’t work is when the voting systems are gamed for the benefit of the few, and that can happen with any and all systems.
Properly sharp knives are indifferent to that which they cut. Be that your steak, or you, their job is to cut.
A properly shaperned knife is a wicked, angry, thing. It must be treated with respect, deffarence, and no small part of care. However, they must not be feared; like a wild predator they can sense fear.
Suffice it to say OP was just using some artistic license to show that they got a new old knife and nicked themselves.
I would like to point out its not even we. Its upper management and ‘the stockholders’. Everyone from the peon to lower management knows that people don’t work continuously for their shift. I doubt anyone can work continuously for that long and not go crazy.
But the reward from mid and management and above for completing your work is more work. Which is great for them since you completing more work means they get bonuses.
Seconding this, and its a great game but only if you do like games where there is a story line, but its up to you to find it.
Don’t comment what a line is doing. Instead, write your code, especially names for variables, constants, classes, functions, methods and so on, so that they produce talking code that needs no comments.
Over and over and over again in my experience this just doesn’t work. Readable code does not substitute for comments about what the code should be doing.
Wait, isn’t that obvious? Its for Elise!
The previous version works pretty darn well under proton (on Kubuntu 23.10 currently). Biggest issue for me is that its designed for controllers.
Okay, but now what about the people that have this part,
none of that means anything when you’ve hit the third month and you’re miserable and anxious and know this is what you’re in for now, everyday
But not this part,
** I’m** at a point in life where I earn a good living
(Emphasis mine)
Unless I misread the tone of your message, its frankly useless and more than little insulting. No shit some jobs suck, but if its the difference between homelessness, or going hungry that’s not a choice at all.
Strong disagree, under DST I get to experience some sunlight in then evenings. Under Standard time I get to watch the sun come up through the window and set through the window.
Scientists maybe, engineering is all about calling things close enough.
Trying to get a good sourdough starter going has been one of the most infuriating things I’ve done. I’ve managed it once, only for it to die to mold. Dogs at least will bug you for thing they need eventually.
Isn’t that an argument against an all powerful God though? That if God were all powerful, that they can do literally anything, that they could create a world such that there was free will and no evil.
If God cannot create such a world then God cannot be all powerful. Just because we cannot imagine what that world would look like wouldn’t limit an all powerful God from creating it.
I don’t play competitive games so I don’t need the extra shooting accuracy. What I have found is that the higher refresh rate has made panning maps in RTS or looking around quickly in FPS much smoother. Its an overall nicer experience, but not really any better gaming than at 60hz.
Yes. First thing to mind are the copyright implications of remixing someone else’s character, and the copyright the meme creator gets to the work regardless. Is it explicitly legal to do or is it just that most creates don’t care much, what about if you try to earn profit by publishing a book of meme?
Then there are the platforms the meme it is hosted on, is it home hosted, is it hosted on a mega tech site, both of which come with a host of differing legal responsibilities and implications.
I mean, no? Its given in the question that option one is an infinite amount of people. Its not limited to just the existing human race.
