Lol. “No one is playing our games, better raise prices”. Genius.

Not just bodies. When working around flood waters its recommended to wear hazmat gear because the water is contaminated by human waste from septic tanks, dead animals, petrol, oil, various poisons and fertilizers, chemicals from stuff like paint, etc.
Probably could be cleaned but even for agri use it would be crazy expensive.
Rio Tinto is moving to solar (and some wind) here in Australia for its aluminum refining and smelting operations. Would be good if the same could be done for steel too.
Yeah GUI development isn’t easy or straightforward. Thats why there are UI/UX engineers whose sole job is to design and create simple and easy to use interfaces. And they get paid big money to do it too.
If those programmers making ultra specialized software were to waste their time making a GUI, they would never finish the project or would require funding of some sort.
This Slowcooker Lentil Soup tastes great and freezes well.
WoW, XBL and Eve are some examples
Subscriptions to online vs offline games is the major difference from now and back then.
I used to pay a subscription to play WoW and Eve because alot of the game runs on the game company’s hardware, which requires maintenance and upgrading periodically.
Single player games that have no reason to connect to the internet other than for updates should not be locked into having a continuous connection to authentication servers and there is no reason to pay a continuing subscription for the game, other than the company’s greed.
They should release decent DLC, expansions, etc if they want to keep milking the same title (or better yet, invest in some new IP instead of swapping franchises like trading cards)
Not exactly niche but I’d like to see some active gardening and diy communities. The existing ones aren’t very active.
I’m leaving everything to a wildlife conservancy. Heres some info:
Australian Wildlife Conservancy
Heres some sites that rank charities reputations (maybe google “charity reputation ratings” for more localized info):
Mulholland Drive is total garbage
I’ve got >500hours in Timberborn on Ubuntu. Runs flawlessly and never had an issue.
Drought. When you live in the bush and only have tank water for everything, drinking water comes before showering/bathing. When things are bad, shower once per week and use a bowl of water and wash cloth to freshen up the rest of the time. Still end up with a smell though. You can smell the drought on the people in a rural areas when you go into town.
This site has a good comparison: https://privacytests.org/
True for most unless you have a mango tree growing in your yard. Then you have more mangos than you know what to do with. Kangaroos, cattle and horses like eating them though.
Looks interesting. I’ll check it out.
How easily/quickly are plants identified on it? Leafsnap usually only takes a minute or so and has id’ed around 90% of what I’ve thrown at it.
But I do like the idea of tracking more than just plants and contributing to data gathering for science.
Edit: yep iNaturalist is much better. The search is about the same but its prioritizing results based on location is a good feature.
Leafsnap - an excellent plant identification app. Can id from a photo of a flower, leaf or bark.
They are also trying out old-school sail ships
Yeah I’d love to have anything near 100Mbps. Currently get 12Mbps on a good day, usually around 6Mbps. This is after spending thousands of dollars to upgrade the connection last year. Australian internet is fucked.
I use an Odroid loaded up with CoreElec ( a version of Kodi ).
I liked using KanBoard. Its simple and runs well inside a docker container.
