So, there may not be much in the way of new actual military spending, just improving the roads/rails of the agreeing countries. That seems a lot easier to sell to the folks that are further from Russia.
There’s an AFB or navy base by a lot of bigger cities. The army takes their crazy off into a corner of a state though, so they can play in the field alone.
Nationalism vs Patriotism
Nationalism - identification with one’s own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.
Patriotism - the quality of being patriotic; devotion to and vigorous support for one’s country.

Or perhaps her brother Dweezil Zappa. There’s a lot of countries that wouldn’t even allow a child to be named that. (thank goodness)
That might be one of the most adorable cats I’ve ever seen, and I like cats.
In LA even. Don’t remember where I read it, but did read an article that there are tones of oil dereks in LA, but they all have a facade on the outside to make it look like a normal building.
The La Brea tar pits are a type of hydrocarbon after all.
Sweet, the Russian army gets more meat for it’s grinder. You would think Russian serfs would be more careful about breaking the law during these mass sacrifice times.

Jikiya@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•how do i explain “it’s raining” to my boyfriend?11·1 month agoIt is the sky. The sky is raining. Or the clouds, the clouds are raining. Either of those two would be a great answer to what “it” is.
My mom always used thread or floss to do step 9, which cut it from all side, making sure they don’t get pinched on one or both sides.
Dog muzzles are not to stop them from barking. They can still make all the noise, a muzzle is to protect people from their sharp teeth.

Even the dense areas look like they’re un-punctured. Gotta get me an adobe house. Which unlike Adobe, is solid.

Everyone will have their personal beliefs bleed into what they saw/how they recount the event. More so for companies that send people out into the world to gather said news.
There is just more/less transparency on the bias.
Jikiya@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•at the plasma donation place, one of the screening questions is "have you had a condition with scab formation?" - like, a superficial cut, or a mosquito bite?10·4 months agoI should note, they said plasma donation, which in the US are usually places that will pay you for the “donation”. The blood banks also take plasma donations, but I don’t think they will pay. Plasma donation is something that seems to be marketed to people that are just barely getting by. And so people lying about their conditions tend to make more sense, as they are just trying to find ways to make ends meet, or have just a little bit of money to spend after expenses.
It’s stupid for everyone but the politicians. This looks good to the most reliable voting bloc, and is dangerous to everyone.
