Depends how we’re counting. Actively playing is probably WoW, but I have so many hours in Factorio, as i would just leave it running overnight. Had a server up for friends also, so probably have close to 1k hours of the game being open, but definitely feel like i wasn’t actively playing as much as WoW. Just to how many years i put into playing WoW.

This change would definitely get companies to change their behavior, make it a rounding error in the millionth of a percent region. That will definitely get them to behave differently.

What would be the plan, in your perfect world, to get companies not make the same mistake again? Ideal version would be nice to know, and maybe we can agree on that. But given that we’re not in the perfect world, what would you say the way to change company behavior is at this this exact point in time?

Have you had a mussel that the separated from the shell just by stabbing it and then picking it up? I’ve always had to hold the shell in place while doing so. Which gets the sauce on my hands, which is functionally not that different than peeling the shrimp that will “get my hands dirty”, at least in my mind. And I could manage it all just fine, if I wanted to, but clearly do not.

Looks delicious, but there’s no way I’d order from them. So I get my food, and then get to prepare it while it’s too hot to touch? So I need to wait for it to cool down to extract the mussel, and shell the shrimp. And then I get to eat lukewarm paella. It bothers me to have to shell food that’s been cooked, but know not everyone is neurotic as me.

Don’t think extradited, but US would try to garnish/seize money going into that account, which is why foreign banks don’t want to deal with the hassle of having a US customer. The extra legal requirements to have an account for you is just not worth it to them. The exception is only when you have a great deal of money, and then they can actually make money from your deposits. But then that amount of money in a bank is a sure sign you don’t know how to manage your money.

Seems like something an enemy of the US would want to do. Make this as difficult militarily and politically as possible. Can’t do anything here but be angry, and share more intelligence with Ukraine, maybe even give them more weapons. I will concede that it will be more expensive, but so will all computing devices. There will be some people who just can’t afford it, but I don’t think people will specifically avoid it due to price. Since a new computer will also have that same increase in price.

The threat indeed, why we had a “nice” cold war, instead of the human ending one. I think both sides would have some amount of them. Not sure how that would play out since we’ve never had a large scalce war between two nuclear powers. Have only had small limited area, limited troop skirmishes. Like USSR/China near Mongolia and Pakistan/India at various border points. And even more limited is the India/China border skirmishes, that dont even have rifles, but rocks and sticks.

Furthermore, the question that came to mind for me is who in Venezuela is in charge. Seems like with modern tech, he could still be president from a US jail. All the bills come through email (or where ever) and he could electronically sign them.

It seems likely to me that he did cheat his way into this last term, but its not something an external force should be adjudicating.
