I remember unsubscribing in the lead up to the 2016 US elections. It changed from aliens and other fringe ideas to 99% US politics.

Props for changing the line to:
“Disruptive U.S. President Donald Trump has seriously undermined the transatlantic relationship and the NATO military alliance, while aligning with a bellicose Russia.”
Previously was a super milquetoast statement like “Washington’s shocking realignment with Moscow”
Came here to mock them for saying “shocking” and the quote had changed.
Ahhh… I remember when Abraham Lincoln predicted this true Circle of Life.
Oh snap, I met my wife on OKC before these changes. I believe Match had already bought them out but it was before the changes like you mentioned.
I remember it being the superior online matchmaking service at the time.
RIP
Judging by their shirts saying St. Someone, I am inclined to believe these ARE private school kids. So this is thankfully legal, no need to worry good citizen.
Yeah I think they could still charge anyone who was in on the plan with conspiracy to commit murder whether they pulled the trigger or not.
Edit: at minimum
Definitely fall into this category. Commentary/ video essays about games are my go-to for background noise.
That makes a lot more sense! Tbh I’m not surprised people are paying that much considering how used cars have been extra expensive the past few years. Couple that with high interest rates and you get large payments. Some people have 10% interest or more, guaranteed.
You pay $240/mo for a new Lexus? What was that? 12 years financing? Or did you pay most of the cost upfront?
A lot of plans do. Especially with the major telecom networks like ATT and Verizon.
Recently had a smaller company come in and install fiber. $85/mo for Gigabit service with no data cap. That’s pretty good compared to what I was paying. ATT only offered 500Mb/s and that was over $110 a month with a data cap, I want to say 800GB.
Do not get reliable enough cell coverage for one of those mobile routers. But they aren’t any cheaper here since those are owned by the major telecoms.
Riding passenger down the freeway and an SUV swerving through traffic clipped a nearby sedan right in the rear corner. Think PIT maneuver but the sedan ended up vertical spinning on its trunk/boot like a top for at least 3 rotations.

That’s a great point and a very poignant reason for why patient gaming is important.
I think I was personally focusing on the saving money part!
Great point. Completely agree this applies to any niche games or even any niche market as a whole.
My personal connection and the reason I posed this is me considering whether or not to pay full price for the fate/stay remaster as well as the tsukihime release.
That’s a great point and I never looked at it as a dichotomy.
However, bugs aren’t something I typically run into due to the nature of the simplicity of VNs. It’s more of a question of do I give max support to my favorite developers or spread the support around in hopes of finding new projects from different developers besides my favorite.
The way you laid it out though helps me ask the question of which of those two is more important to me.
Asking the real questions!
I’m having trouble finding the link this moment but I remember reading about a billionaire or ceo public figure who is addicted to this game saying that productivity around the world will crash once this game was released on mobile platforms.
Edit: not some billionaire ceo. It was this link I was remembering:

Not sure if that’s better or worse lmao
That would be bad I agree. I however think what they’ve said still allows for a physical Ultimate edition release with all dlc included without the usual additions of “Royal” or “Golden”.
If you are correct that there will be no complete physical version then my feelings are indeed muddled.
Considering they are delaying pre orders due to the tariffs I do not think tariffs are the reason the price is so high. I think Nintendo is trying to set a new standard for game prices. If these games still sell at $80 then I wouldn’t be surprised to see GTA 6 release for $100. The whole gaming market will likely follow.
