Okay, so this assumes they’re from two separate regions – are the two trains operating in the same time zone? E.g: 5 AM and 7 AM, Pacific Standard Time?

Are we allowed to watch the two trains pass each other on separate tracks? The question never declares that they are on the same track, only going “towards each other”, as in, the same direction of travel.
