I mean I still have my Steam Controller but I wish they’d just rerelease the thing. For the 60 bucks back then it was an absolute bargain considering ehat you can do with it. And I have to say, it felt also really nice to hold with the kinda grip you’d have on it, which is really different.

I played Doom 2016 on the couch with. Touchpads for large camera movements and the gyro for precise aiming. Worked very good after getting used to it, felt better / more dynamic than a classic gamepad.

Please let this finally happen. It’s absurd when normal people pay maybe 20-40% taxes depending on the country when the super rich almost don’t pay at all.

I don’t get it. If the reason for this really is that there are not enogh workers present, then I why won’t the employees tell their employers to go fuck themselves? I mean it doesn’t sound like there aren’t enough job offers on the market.

Yeah I know about this, but personally in our field I don’t see anybody bothering with preprints sadly. Maybe we should though, sounds like the first step.

When will scientists just self-publish? I mean seriously, nowadays there is nothing between a researcher and publishing their stuff on the web. Only thing would be peer-reviewing, if you want that, but then just organize it without Elsevier. Reviewers get paid jack shit so you can just do a peer-reviewing fediverse instance where only the mods know the people so it’s still double-blind.

Man this looks so good, but I’m not sure if I’m shooting myself in the foot with the camera and the 60Hz display. I’m just looking for a reasonable midrange phone that still has a headphone jack that’s not whack in any sense.

Pixel 7a, A55, Nothing 2a and Moto Edge 50 Fusion all look nice and probably better, if it wasn’t for the headphone jack that I want to keep to connect to various audio periphery as a musician.

Then you have the Oneplus Nord CE 2 5G which is already two years old.

Or the Xiaomi Redmi Not 12 S, which looks amazing for the price, but I’ve read that their UI pushes you ad. Wtf could you fucking not.

Addendum: Shopping for a decent midrange phone has never been so frustrating like these days. Everything gets more expensive while the phones loose features (just look at the telecam on the xperia 10 VI compared to the V)

I’ve never gotten really into it. It’s such a mess, you don’t find shit so you ask around in channels hoping someone says something relevant. After one or two replies the next person wants to talk about something else and your question disappears into the void

Well it might depend on specific games, but for like a dragon it did not work out in the end.

Sorry it got mixed up, it was in PC. It’s the xboxapps folder or something like that, which windows locks down as a system folder.

It was on PC. See my other reply for the specifics. Very shitty experience and the dealbreaker around game pass since I’ve managed not finish multiple games before they dropped out of the service.
