31·29 days agoManual ordering of images in albums is an absolute must before I adopt any image management system. It’s wierd to me that seemingly none of the FOSS systems support it (considering that most of us are datahoading control freaks).

I find I’m frequently having anxiety attacks these days because of… <gestures at everything>, but reading this massive in-depth writeup, just letting me soak in a hobby I love but don’t have much time for as I’d like, has relaxed me more than anything has in months. I just spun up Wallabag on my server the other day to replace Omnivore. Im going to take a look at this, but does anyone have experience or thoughts on how this compares? I’m not so deep into it yet that I couldn’t switch to Linkwarden if it’s better.
My main uses would be archiving articles and highlighting passages.
Exactly! On their screens they would be seeing the code, but in their minds they’re seeing the structures and relationships of it all and that’s what the visuals were meant to represent to a layman audience.
