However I’m planning to switch from Nix this summer since one of the maintainers of NixOs is the one which added age verification to systemd, still haven’t decided on which Os I’ll switch to probably Devuan os but may give Alpine a shot since it’s more stable than Arch btw, so I’ll just be ricing and distro hopping this summer until I pick my new favorite again.

I’ve been using it for 3 years, it made my old laptop live a second life, my old laptop is 6 years old, I’ve tried Arch and Lubuntu as I am only for lightweight distros, and yet Nixos is by far my favorite.
6·11 months agoSorry to ask, but I couldn’t find anything that would help me understand what’s this project about exactly, the GitHub repo does provide details and the informations here sound a bit blurry, however your hype about it makes it feel like it’s something big and important, which is why I had to ask, if you could provide more clarity around and about this project?

Laptop has no functional battery ATM. Same honestly, I have NixOs on my spare laptop which has no battery, I’m thinking of switching to GUIX, how easy would you say the switch would be? would you recommend it?
