  • to add, the way classes and influence is structered and also because of many individual fear people have of change makes it harder again, but to counter that, i believer there are rich people that could and want to make a change, you just have to inspire them. So basically, be good at all the capitalistic virtues, advertising, stats, bullshittery, you must also still have enough soul to inspire your investors. to conclude, start local things -> marketing -> investor -> resist temptation -> better world?. Investor could also be your onl4fans following. But then again, that southpark episode about the japanese toilets

  • I think he was hinting that maybe at the end of the day given a democratic system we will always be fighting ourselves, only 2 parties blah blah blah, if the majority wanted to have it different it would be different, . While yes consequences, like you said would bad for humanity as a whole, the individual on average does not care enough. what happened to going door to door to have a conversation, bring something good to the neighbourhood practises, yes because capitalism it is xxxtra hard, but we do it not because it easy, but because it might actually change something. So both of you fuckers arr xxtra right, just not talking aboot the same aspect.

i think it is not a problem of the concept religion. I think that almost every “church” or gathering or deed that came naturally by the followers is a lot of the time in good faith, because of religion. The less power you have in a religion the more likely you are to be there for less selfish reason.

now, second generation of churchgoers are no different, but some have become aware of the capitalistic incetives in there resulting in general corruption. Now they still need do something to appease the follower, but does anyone actually know the real financial books of you congregation? No, if they hide anything there is always corruption at play.

i do think that the autonomy of the church results in there always being some charity that actually does do good sponsored by churchly orgs.

for government however there is no deeper foundation to any instance that tries to do good without backin by faith. these programs can be much more effective possibly, but funding can dissapear like that, and more importantly, key people who make the effort a success get shipped/laid of once that happens.

A lot of work that some non-profits do is literally impossible to get normal workers for. It is always very emotional work with a round the clock awareness required. ofc everything is a gradient and nothing is black or white.

i think that just the overburden off being a productive capitalist has made it 10x as exhausting to exists

  • conformists gotta conform. But i must say that culture is a big part of actual quality of life. I say that dutch culture has definetly played a part in our “prosperity”. That you do you man vibe, combined with a general backtone of don’t be flexin because last time 70 people died from a flood caused by negligence. But it is also a culture that can be taken advantage of easily. It is easier to believe it can’t be that bad and they all have good intentions than, your life you will only contribute to the hellscape should you try to sustain yourself. If you are a beggar, where is your revolution? If you are ceo, why are there all these beggars? If you are phd student, when are you turning 30? Have you got the balls to change the world? You a pensioner? Is the world your grandkids are born in satisfactory? In prison servin life4real? Mad respect for finding this, but even you can find honour in your life still. Jesus forgives is fucking true, i don’t go that way technically cuz christianity is kinda gay. but how you feel about your life is how you will live it. After you dead there may-be nothing, but here there are the constant thoughts in your own head, and one should think about them sometimes, besides, you probably think you are smarter than joe rogan. Tilting to you coment: “i think that most people think that”-me 'i dont matter BUT the fact that we all vote, does change the world a littlebit, “atleast it is not guy x”. During this forgetting they are literally the world. In 2 ways even, everything is fake, you are your thoughts, and you are the voters, together we are America.
Sad as it is culture is the problem. Look all these qoutes are sorta teue and sorta not true. The answer lay in yourself. Be the change you wanna see, sometimes to help oneself, one must help another, worry only about what you can change yourself. They are sometimes contradicting, that is because they mean nothing, you assign meaning. In assigning of meaning we should start thinking about meaning. podcasts make it feel like you thought about something, but you didn’t, if the video made you lie awake, good job, you probably did think about it, one video down. I don’t discredit, you can actually learn very much info in short span, but the meaning of this info is not yet assigned, embeddings much? so yes everyone should only worry about what they can change. Yes you can change the world. No you can’t do everything. Yes you can do anything. If everyone helped each other to help themselves i wouldn’t be having this ted talk.be the change you wanna see. The answer lay in yourself but also just be in the moment, shoutout to my neigbour lol. To conclude nothing has ever had true meaning, we are just pretending to have all the answers all along. homie you are my world. roadhouse.

  • “Nobody is entitled to your words or actions or time”. I ofcourse do not know the full context but that sounds like the porogative of the person the main post is about.

When marching to a just victory be aware of the trail you leave.

I have force quite relationships by pressing x goodbye and i have stopped talking to people. I only regret the force quit cuz i also coulda just not talked to him for a while and he could return someday.then there wouldn’t even be any stress.

there are times and places for people also tries to convey die or nothing mentalities may close doors, only to satisfy the need to be recognised.

  • that is always my instinctual reaction too and why i was harsh in my reply to her, however i recognise it is much more complicated than that.

again why someone tries to remind you of their birthday can be because of many reasons. Maybe it is a male, and you are the only person that remembered it last year and accidentally he let fear take a hold of the keyboard. Maybe it is someone that is always used to getting best wishes and let audacity take hold of their keyboard.

It is spoken expectations that sour a relationship, but fulfilling unspoken expectations is a the relationship.

when you expect people to not break contact you might not be compatible with people who expect that they can come and leave.

But it is okay to have different types of expectations for different people.

It is okay to adapt to someone elses unspoken terms somtimes, you will find that many beautifull people can be very hard to communicate with.

  • I would say that there can be many reasons for a persons absence in you life. But in this absence we can also see our own fears.

I am literally slightly ignoring someone whose uncanny birthdy is today. A person from the comments said it. some people reduce their circle when it gets tough. For me, i find it hard to be person right now. Every single day is the make or break of my life. Massive debt, constant house of cards feeling.

I recieved a message, she said it’s her birthday. I look at my personal calender, i reply, yes it is, what you want me to do about it.

I was rude. I know that someone really cares and it’s her birthday even, why not just be nice?

Then again if someone is willin to force quit a friend just because they are absent is just having trust issues. And as someone who is still my best friend to this day once said. “you don’t just throw this away.”
